Schoolyard Greening
We collaborate with school communities to design & install green, open spaces on campuses, promoting environmental stewardship and outdoor learning for students.
With over 30 school gardens and farms created in the past 10 years, our schoolyard greening projects range from simple outdoor classrooms with raised beds and fruit trees to expansive 1-acre production farms supplying produce to district nutrition services and youth training programs.
Much of our work begins with the transformation of underutilized school lands into outdoor classrooms & labs, peaceful refuges, community hubs, and places where students can grow & harvest fresh foods.
